alissa began her studio practice in Toronto and is now based in the forested hills of the alta langa in piemonte, italy. with her partner, matias silva, alissa works in a quiet natural setting where the objects she creates are infused with the calm beauty of their surroundings.

alissa's background and education in industrial design led her to discover the magic of ceramics. today, her focus is on sculptural installations as well as sculptural and functional objects for luxury residential and hospitality projects, often working in collaboration with art consultants and interior designers to develop site-specific artworks.
