Rob Baytor has established a multidisciplinary studio practice that encompasses a variety of media and design approaches. Through painting, sculpture, mixed media, and large-scale architectural installations; Baytor has developed a broad knowledge of application techniques and materials exampled by varied designs, builds, and installations. Communicating a visual, tactile aesthetic conscious of a work’s spatial surroundings, design, and space; has been a goal to cumulatively establish a style or authorship that earmarks both art historical references as well as the everyday industrial designs we live with. 

Completing his BFA at the OCAD University, Baytor currently works as an artist based jointly in Hamilton/Toronto as well as adjunct locations. Studio works can be found in private, public, and corporate collections across North America, Europe, and South America.
